I'm [First Last], [role] at [organization].

Today I'm endorsing **Restore the First** — the citizens' coalition organized around the six named plaintiffs in *Finn v. Global Engagement Center*.

## 90-SECOND SCRIPT (~225 words)

*[Look directly at camera.]*

I'm [First Last], [role] at [organization].

I've spent [years] working on [your field / cause / practice]. Today I'm endorsing **Restore the First** — a citizens' coalition for the First Amendment — and I want to tell you why in the plainest words I have. …

In 2021, six Americans were named in a private report as the "Disinformation Dozen." Doctors. Journalists. Health-freedom advocates. The White House pressured Facebook, in writing, to reduce their reach. The company complied. Their distribution was cut by sixty percent.

They sued the federal government. In July 2026, a federal judge dismissed the case — not on the merits, on **pleading defects.** The court did not decide whether the pressure was constitutional. It decided the complaint had too many defendants. The evidence sits, unruled on, in the public docket. …

I'm endorsing Restore the First because [two-to-three-sentence reason in your voice, tied to your work — this is where you make it real for the people who follow you].

The coalition is asking Congress for three things.

**One:** preserve every record before it is lost. …
**Two:** hold public hearings where the six named plaintiffs testify under oath. …
**Three:** create a private right of action so any American penalized by government-directed platform pressure has standing to sue.

If this fight is your fight — and it is — do one thing today. Sign the petition. Share your own story. It only takes two minutes.

## Delivery notes

- **Don't apologize.** Endorsements sound weakest when the speaker seems surprised to be making one. Speak as if the position is obvious.
- **Look at the lens, not the screen.** The lens is what your audience will feel eye contact with.
- **Pause after the reason.** Give viewers a full beat to absorb your one-sentence "because" before you move to the asks.
- **Say the URL twice** on 60s and 90s versions if you can — once mid-sentence, once on the closing line.
- **No hedging language.** Cut "I think," "in my opinion," "personally." You're endorsing. The whole video is your opinion.
- **Landscape and portrait exports.** Record in 4K if possible; downsample to whichever ratio the platform wants.
