Ten dated steps, from a classification list to a government contract.
Each step is sourced to the operators' own publications, an official document, or independent reporting. The sequence is documented; coordination between every link is not asserted.
Twelve people, one list.

The court dismissed the case. The record was not.
The central allegation of coordinated censorship has never been adjudicated on its merits by any court. Both cases brought by named individuals were decided on procedure — one on standing, one on the form of the pleading.
Who wrote it down, and when.

Four tracks. Only one is ever totalled.
Direct to CCDH counts only money that demonstrably reached the organization that authored the Dozen, each row evidenced by a tax filing, a grant database record or a funder's statement. Totals stay per currency and are never converted.

A tracker that collects only accusations is a grievance file.
Documents that undercut the characterizations in the record above, including findings by the platforms and agencies themselves. This section is why this one is a record.
Corrections, against our own interest.
Claims this project asserted and has since withdrawn or qualified, published in full. To contest a row, write to contact@restorethe1st.com with the row and the document; corrections are applied to the dataset and the build date updates.
Methodology, standard of proof and corrections
What this is
A chronological, source-linked record of published material that negatively characterizes the “Disinformation Dozen” — the twelve Americans named on CCDH’s March 2021 list — together with GreenMedInfo and its founder, one of the twelve. It exists because the claims were public, consequential, and in several cases led to removal from platforms — while the documents behind them are scattered and often hard to retrieve.
Two views, one dataset
- Published record (default) — every item is independently verified and carries a working link to its primary document. If you cannot click through to the source, it is not here.
- Researcher view — adds items that are not independently verified, or whose supporting evidence sits in private files. These are flagged on every row. They are shown for completeness and are not part of the public claim.
Naming: a distinction that matters
Most documents in this record do not name GreenMedInfo or its founder at all. They cite the “Disinformation Dozen” as a list. We separate these explicitly, because conflating them would overstate the record:
- names directly — the document names GreenMedInfo or its founder, Sayer Ji.
- Dozen list — the document repeats the list or its finding without naming him.
Funding: four separate tracks, one headline
Funding is the easiest thing to get wrong, so it is deliberately partitioned. Only the first track is ever totalled.
- Direct to CCDH — money that demonstrably reached the organization that authored the Disinformation Dozen, each row evidenced by a tax filing, a grant database record, or a published funder statement. Totals are given per currency and never converted or combined, because exchange rates across a decade would manufacture false precision.
- Upstream & pass-through — aggregate grant totals to donor-advised-fund sponsors and intermediaries through which CCDH later received money. These are shown individually and never summed: the portion that actually reached the naming work is not public, and presenting the aggregate as targeting money would be false.
- Institutional context — money to universities, agencies and the misinformation field generally, including funding acknowledged in the metadata of academic papers. Context for how the field is financed. Not evidence of coordination, and not summed.
- Checked & not substantiated — claims investigated and either refuted or unlocatable, published deliberately. A tracker that only shows hits is advocacy; one that shows its misses is a record.
Severity
A 1–5 editorial rating of how damaging a characterization is, from repeating the list label (1) to extremist association or attribution of deaths (5). It is a reading aid, not a legal conclusion. Nothing in this tracker alleges a crime by any person or organization.
Personnel
The published record names only individuals whose role is documented in a primary filing — a companies register, a tax return, or an official biography — and every role links to that filing. Individuals whose identity or role we could only partly confirm, or that rest on a single uncorroborated lead, are withheld from the published record entirely. “Bridges” are people holding roles in two or more organizations, which surfaces ties no single entity’s filings reveal.
Corrections
Errors will exist in a dataset this size. If a row is wrong, incomplete, or has been superseded, we want to fix it — send the row, the problem, and the document. Corrections are applied to the dataset and the build date updates. A funder or organization that believes a characterization of its role is inaccurate can request review on the same terms.
Reuse
Both views export to CSV from the sidebar. The record is intended to be checkable, quotable and reusable with attribution.
